How To Make A Typical English Breakfast

The One-pan english breakfast – This really is a simple, easy and fast breakfast to make. All you need is one frying pan and the ingredients. Just take your usual ingredients for your english breakfast (eggs, beans, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, tomato, potato slices etc.), cut the larger pieces up into smaller pieces and add it all to the pan. It may not look the tidiest meal but it is all there in an easy to eat, easy to prepare breakfast.

Imagine that wonderful smell of a cooked breakfast wafting out of the kitchen – greeting your guests as they come down the stairs and head off to the Breakfast room where they are then greeted by a typical cooked English breakfast

First up – sausages. Cooking them on the grill is healthier than frying, naturally, as much of the fat drips off and onto the barbecue – just watch out for flare-ups from your coals, which will result in singed sausages

Then, take some mushrooms and season them with salt and pepper. Fry them on both sides till they are tender, making sure that you fry the flat side first. Add butter into the pan to lend a nutty flavor. Tomatoes are a defining element of this hearty meal. Pick large, firm tomatoes. Cut them in half, and season with salt and pepper. First fry them face down, turn and add butter. They should have a nice sear on them. Don’t shake the pan while you are frying them or the tomatoes will release their juices and you will get tomato stew.

Breakfast is cooked fresh, except the tomatoes. Though frying is not a healthy option, grilled food lacks grease and may not have the required moisture. Slowly friend bacon and sausages can really be lip smacking. Its flavors are not too spiky but are familiar. Though the full breakfast is served with a large mug of tea, these days coffee is also being served.

Tea pairs well with any food, not just bacon and eggs, so if you’re looking for a low fat breakfast treat, put some fruit such as berries, peaches, oranges, grapefruit, etc. in a bowl, add a couple of tablespoons of plain yogurt or skim milk, and a handful of rolled oats or granola. Savor the cool fruit with the warm, smoky tea and you will have a new outlook on your day.

Egg sandwiches are a great post-run breakfast. They provide a good mix of protein and carbohydrates that your muscles need to properly recover, they help give you the energy to carry yourself through lunch, and they are very tasty.

Scrambled Eggs and salmon – The eggs are full of protein, great fats and many vitamins and minerals. The salmon adds a substantial amount of omega 3 fatty acids to the small amount already found in the eggs.

Start toasting an english muffin or bagel, as the egg will be done cooking around the same time as your bun. You can also add mushrooms, bacon, cheese or some onion and pepper on the egg to add a few more nutrients and make the egg sandwich even tastier. If you cover the other items with the cheese on top of the egg then you can more easily keep the whole thing together when transferring the egg from your pan to your english muffin.
