Easy Home Made Waffles

Waffles are a type of pancake-like food that is eaten mainly for breakfast, desert or as a treat. You will often find them in restaurants, take-aways and even on the street being sold by food vendors. One of the most important things about baking a waffle is using the correct waffle maker. There are a large range of waffle makers on the market today and choosing the right one can be tricky. But it is important that you choose a waffle maker that will keep the outside crispy while the inside remains soft and fluffy. Waffles can be included in your camping trip foods. A waffle iron will allow you to cook your waffles during out door activities.

With waffles you can make your own dog treats that will have pooches rolling around with delight, and it will take less than an hour to produce. With this recipe all you need is 4 cups of whole wheat flour, half a cup of cornmeal, one egg, two table spoons of vegetable oil and one and 3 quarters cups of water. You can make your waffles sweet by allowing your selected fruits mixed with rich whipped cream tickle your taste buds and adding blueberry, pecan ,strawberry or peanut butter.Pre heat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and while the oven heats up, mix the ingredients in a bowl. Knead and then roll out the dough until it is about half an inch thick. Heat up your waffle iron until it is hot and has reached the proper temperature. Pour batter onto the griddle to within one inch of the edge. Cook each waffle for approximately 5 to 6 minutes or until done. Serve immediately or freeze for later use.
